The MCMR series handguard features an industry-leading barrel nut and lock-up design for modularity on the M-LOK platform. This unique patented mounting system (US Patent 8904691) features a mechanical index on the 12 o'clock rail that positions the mounting hardware to reduce movement due to heat generated by the weapon system. MCMR uses an M-LOK compatible mounting system. Free float handguard takes the load off the barrel and reduces deflection for more accurate shooting. Precision machining of aerospace grade 6061-T6 aluminum alloy achieves high strength and light weight. The uniquely developed profile increases the strength of the cross section.
