Virtually eliminates the snatchy "on-off" throttle characteristics of modern EFI-equipped motorcycles. Progressively shaped control cam improves rider control in low throttle positions. The G2 Street Throttle Tamer Tube for Ducati incorporates a non-linear ratio of hand throttle rotation and carburetor or throttle body opening. A pulley or cam pulls the throttle cable and the rider rotates the grip/tube. Changing the traditional circular cam greatly improves control and dramatically reduces throttle snatch. The Throttle Tamer Tube contains a reduced radius cam that must be rotated slightly to reach the same carburetor or throttle body position as the stock throttle. This virtually eliminates the "throttle snatch" common on fuel-injected street bikes. Radius increases or increases after 1/2 throttle and must be reached at or near throttle at stock rotation to maintain overall rotation. The Throttle Tamer includes a 600xx progressive cam profile. His other G2ergo cameras are also available if you'd like a change. Machined from USA 6061 aluminum. Self-lubricating Delrin bushings on each end of the tube eliminate aluminum-to-aluminum contact and provide an extremely smooth feel. The included cam is removable and can be replaced with an alternative G2 cam (sold separately) for fine adjustment. Fits the stock cable inside the stock throttle housing.
