Rear toe-in adjustment is an extremely effective means of reducing the understeer characteristic of FF vehicles. If understeer is strong, reducing the rear toe-in will allow the rear to move around during cornering (especially when entering the corner), suppressing understeer. This setting also affects straight-line speed because running resistance is reduced. Additionally, with torsion beam suspension, there is almost no camber change due to stroke. Therefore, when cornering (near the clipping point), the outside strike of the tire (a state in which only the outside of the tire is in contact with the ground) becomes strong, so camber is necessary to effectively utilize the tire's grip. TM-SQUARE camber shims are equipped with two double taper shims (shims tapered in two directions) per wheel so that toe-in and camber can be changed at the same time.
