■By replacing the genuine bellows-shaped intake pipe with a stainless steel Kakimoto modified intake pipe, smoother intake efficiency has been achieved. ■The Kakimoto modified intake pipe for 86/BRZ uses a 1.5mm thick stainless steel pipe, which is thinner than the aluminum pipe generally used for intake pipes. Furthermore, due to the space in the engine room, it was not possible to install a large chamber, but by expanding the middle part from 76.3φ to 100φ within the limited space and giving a chamber effect, it was possible to create a smooth engine.
