Piston calipers with stainless steel braided brake hoses maintain consistent brake pressure with faster skin and more consistent pedal response. Additionally, the stainless steel wire provides Precision brake modulation, especially during harsh braking. The improved pedal feel is more effective because the factory rubber lines on older cars have softened and swelled over time. Piston caliper brake lines generally consist of a straight layer of stainless steel woven braid that carries the brake fluid and is covered with a layer called a PTFE (Teflon) inner. PTFE tubing is highly extensible and will not drop under pressure and will remain smooth and exposed. The braided stainless steel woven with PTFE provides support to avoid incidental impact and abrasion, making it extremely durable. Next, the stainless steel braided hose is coated with a clear PVC cover finish for maximum protection against abrasion and a reinforced device with strain relief end fittings. A variety of end fittings means you need to meet most applications. The developed fittings have all the right fit and durability. All necessary brackets and fasteners are included in each line kit. All piston caliper brake lines are 100% tested in-house to 4,500 psi pressure. This is almost 4 hours applied by standard line pressure to the production vehicle's master cylinder. The piston calipers are a registered brake hose manufacturer that matches the USA DOT, and all piston calipers are manufactured from stainless steel matching DOT standards. Piston caliper stainless steel wires must also meet or exceed Section 106 and applicable international and EU standards.
