[Easy to install] The indicator can be used just by inserting it, and installation is easy. [Installation Instructions] Locate the BLACK 4-pole diagnostic connector (also known as DDA) under the seat. - Remove the cover (cap) from the plug and connect the GFYSHIP plug. - Connect the red wire of the GFYSHIP meter to the blue 15 above the fuse. - Route the cables along the frame to the mounting location. - Peel off the green plastic from the back of the unit and attach the display. - Secure the cable with the included cable ties. [Setup] You need to set up the module after installation. When the ignition is turned on, the display will count backwards (from 6 to 1) to indicate that the memory is being cleared. - Use a stand to lift the rear wheels off the ground and place the engine in neutral. (If you don't have a stand, try riding. Find a long, straight road with little traffic.) - "1" will flash on the display. Select 1st gear, release the clutch, and keep the RPMs above idle. The display will flash rapidly while the unit is learning the gears. - When "2" appears on the display, select 2nd gear. Repeat this process until all gears are accounted for (5 or 6). The unit is programmed and should display gear correctly. Now, when the ignition is turned on, the display counts forward (1 to 6) and it is fully functional.
