N700S is a new Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen train that was developed based on the conventional N700 series and began operation in 2020. Applying for JR Tokai approval
Additional 4-car set. The bodies of cars 3, 10, and 11, which had the window arrangement changed from the confirmation test car, were newly manufactured. The car number and warning display on the roof are already printed. A confirmation test vehicle appeared in March 2018, and various tests were conducted. Mass-produced vehicles of the same type were manufactured based on the confirmation test vehicle, and operations began in July 2020, mainly on the Nozomi. For mass-produced cars, the top car's bogie cover and antenna shape have been changed. "N700 Supreme" logo printed. JR mark, green car mark, car number (car body), and non-smoking mark are already printed. The basic set has the car number printed (J1 formation). Add-on sets A and B come with a transfer sheet for car number and upgrade. Car numbers are included, including those for changing the basic set. The lead car is equipped with a permanently lit head and tail light board. The headlights of the lead car are lit by white LEDs. Adopts color sheet. Movable canopy equipment. Adopts a hook/U-shaped energizing coupler. New current collection system, silver wheels adopted. Powered by flywheel, M-13 motor adopted. *The railway model is a system that supplies power from the rails.
