Agasuke is a Tohoku dialect that means "dressing up." Contrary to its ironic name, it is made with delicate handwork. The uneven shading created by intentionally applying a thin layer of glaze, and the unique curves and delicate hairline-like texture created by further shaving the molded fabric.
