The actual Tokyo Toden 7700 type 7701 Midori was born in 1955 as the Toden 7000 type 7061 car. In 1977, as Toden routes were shrinking, the body of the train was updated to a new one in order to become a one-man train, and it was reborn as Toden Type 7000 ``Renewed Car'' No. 7007.
