A carefully selected set of 6 colors including Lagoon Blue created in collaboration between Schminke and artist Yuko Nagayama. This set consists of the newly developed special color Lagoon Blue and five colors that Mr. Nagayama often uses. *989 Lagoon Blue Mr. Nagayama's comment: ``Blue-green is the color I use most often in my paintings, and I feel calm when I use this color. Up until now, I've been mixing colors, but this time, I've added even more to that color. They made a vivid color.For me, it reminds me of the color of Goshikinuma in my hometown, Fukushima.I named it Lagoon Blue, which is easy to imagine even if you are not Japanese.It is such an honor. *209 Transparent Yellow Mr. Nagayama's comment: ``When I draw the leaves of plants, I don't use green, but instead use a mixture of blue and transparent yellow.This transparent yellow is a natural color of the leaves. *218 Transparent Orange Mr. Nagayama's comment: ``It has a transparency that is completely different from other oranges.It is the color of that chili oil that you put on dumplings.It is beautiful even as a single color, and it does not lose its transparency even when mixed together.
