● Kyoto ware/Kiyomizu ware chazuke (rice bowl) ● Kiyomizu ware is one of Kyoto's most representative traditional crafts, and originally referred to the pottery that was fired at the kilns in the Kiyomizuzaka area on the way to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. -Hand-drawn designs have a three-dimensional feel that is not found in printed ones, and the features and designs have a Kyoto-like feel. -The name Kochi refers to colored glazed ceramics made in southern China. It is said to have originated from the fact that it was brought to Japan by ship.It is a kiln specializing in the interdigital technique, and uses not only traditional colors but also its own unique glazes.It is characterized by its vivid colors and detailed patterns.
