The legs of the Kutani Japanese Glass, which combines two traditional crafts, Kutani ware and Edo glass, are made from genuine Kutani ware, each piece carefully hand-painted by a skilled craftsman. For the glass parts, only handmade Edo Glass blown glass is used. It is not easy to join different materials such as porcelain and glass, and the technology has been developed over many years (when a shock is applied to the product, the porcelain or glass (base material) In 2006, it won the Good Design Award in the new area design category. The stem is decorated with Kutani ware's traditional white grain tetsusen arabesque, creating a gorgeous wine glass.
