The IOS S-system is a drag unit custom part that allows for tight hooking while retaining the smooth drag characteristics of Shimano reels. The highly accurate spool rotation brought about by the aluminum integrated machine-cut housing, and the concept of receiving the spool with a high-precision bearing instead of a resin collar with unstable surface pressure, keep the surface pressure of the drag felt constant and ensure stability of drag operation. At the same time, it strengthens the drag characteristics, and it is possible to linearly minimize the drag output according to the tension. It shows evolution in hooking fish around structure that could not be caught with just smooth fishing, hooking during long casts, and power games with thick shaft hooks. The tone of the drag has also been refined, and the pitch has been finely chopped to the extent that it does not impair drag performance.Fine tuning has been achieved to create a tone with a presence and high-pitched sound that is more like a precision instrument.Additionally, an adjustment shim is included to prevent uneven winding of the spool. Compatible with various reels. *Ssystem cannot reverse the spool!
