Titanium wraps are designed to be stronger and more durable than most wraps, improving thermal performance and reliability. Withstands 200°F direct heat and 2500° intermittent heat. Facilitate increased flow and improve performance. Reduces temperature and vibration failures. It is very flexible and can be wrapped tightly. Kit includes everything needed to set up a V8 header: 2 x 2" x 50' exhaust wraps, 4 x 8" and 4" stainless steel lock ties, and lock tie tool.

DEI titanium exhaust straps using LR Technology are made from crushed lava rock, twisted into fibrous materials and woven into a unique weave. Titanium wraps are designed to be stronger and more durable than most wraps, improving thermal performance and reliability. Titanium wraps can withstand 900 degrees Fahrenheit and intermittent heat. Facilitates increased flow while reducing temperature and vibration failures. Ideal for automotive and motorcycle applications. This kit includes everything you need to set up a V8 header: 2 x 2" x 50' exhaust wraps, 4 x 8" and 4" stainless steel lock ties, and a lock tie tool. Please note: The wrap is not designed to be removed after heat cycling. After heating the fibers, they lose their initial flexibility. Does not reduce the thermal properties of the exhaust wrap. Please keep this in mind when removing the wrap. Design Engineering High Temperature Silicone Coating Spray is not recommended for DEI titanium wraps. A note about titanium exhaust systems: DEI does not recommend wrapping titanium exhausts. The alloys used to manufacture titanium exhaust systems tend to be thinner and are designed to dissipate heat quickly. By wrapping the exhaust port, the additional heat causes the titanium alloy to spin brittle, making it more susceptible to premature cracking. DEI recommends using alternatives such as flexible heat shields when reducing heat with titanium exhaust systems.
