ARP manufactures a variety of premium grade bolt and stud kits to facilitate exhaust header installation, including our popular stainless steel stud kit with 12 point nuts. Stainless 300 material is not susceptible to corrosion or extreme heat, making it ideal for applications. Additionally, the compact 12-point nut allows you to easily slide the socket closer to the pipe. Each ARP accessory stud or bolt kit includes a specific number of parts as needed, plus premium quality washers and hex or 12 point nuts. Studs are manufactured with a unique nut starter nose that prevents cross-threading. Studs and bolts are either black oxide chrome moly or stainless steel 300. Both have a nominal 170,000 psi tensile strength which is much stronger than grade 8 hardware. A special drill NASCAR model is also available for those who desire safety wiring to prevent header bolts from loosening. Special NASCAR model header bolts drilled for safety wire use are also available. Perfect for racers looking for ultimate security.
