Dual Filtration - Patented Technology. The unique design and patented process make this magnetic filter the most effective magnetic in-line filter. Filtration begins by placing a powerful magnet at the fluid inlet. The filter is placed in the cooler return line, so all contaminated liquid flows within the effective range of the powerful magnet, which should remove 99% of hardness from the sub-micron level. Secondary filtration of non-ferrous dirt, clutch fiber, aluminum and brass is filtered through a 25 micron pleated paper membrane. A perforated steel core prevents membrane collapse and allows for high pressure surges that occur under normal operating conditions. The filter's safety bypass/pressure relief valve ensures consistent fluid flow under all operating conditions. The magnet's unique design removes metal particles at the entry point, even in bypass mode.
