MOROSO 60462 Cam button Big Block Chevrolet

Professional engine builders are familiar with camshaft "walking" - excessive end play creates erratic spark timing, and the timing chain/gear "eats" when the timing cover is installed in the aluminum holder, causing the cam to be blocked by the retaining plate. Bolted to the timing gear solves the problem. The button assembly does not allow the cam to walk forward. Ignition timing and prevention of expensive engine repairs.
