Superconducting technology involves cooling to extremely low temperatures. This technology is widely used in NASA's space shuttle and JAXA's artificial satellites and linear motor cars. “ICE FUSE®” is a vehicle fuse created by applying this technology. Cryogenic cooling treatment at minus 196 degrees Celsius activates the metal part of the fuse, making it easier to conduct electricity.
