Place the U-shaped belt cradle at 90 degrees to the bottom of the belt, and align the large O-shaped ring with the reference point and record reading location. 3. Push the rubber bumper upward until the small O-ring touches the bottom of the tool body. Adjust the large O-ring again to the reference point, and the difference from the measured value will be the belt deflection.
