When used in paints, best results are obtained by mixing as much glow powder as possible into a clear, non-aqueous paint. This glow paint must be applied over white to act as a reflector and enhance the visible glow. You can use sunlight, regular indoor lighting, or UV (black light) to "charge" Europium UltraGlow powder. The more UV wavelengths the light contains, the faster it will charge. Sunlight (light levels between 3,000 - 50,000 lux) charges the powder quickly, requiring only 5 minutes of exposure.
