ATLANTA Chemical Engineering offers non-toxic thermoplastic fabric coatings. These are made from Leuco Dyes and are microencapsulated and change color depending on temperature. Our Themochromic fabric paints come in a variety of colors and activation temperatures. When the temperature increases by a certain degree, the paint changes from one color to another and from colorless to colorless (translucent white). However, the process is reversible - once it cools/heats, the paint will return to its original color. This listing is for a 6 oz (177 ml) black that turns colorless at 60°F (28°C). Painting room temperature, surface temperature will help in the process of changing the color of the hands.
