More readily portable than standard oil painting materials. Handcrafted using traditional ingredients – processed in small batches in Kingston, New York. Natural beeswax, natural vegetable waxes, linseed oil and pigments. The end result is an oil paint stick with the soft consistency of a lipstick. R&F pigment stick is an oil-based paint. Pigment sticks allow painters to draw and paint directly onto surfaces without the use of brushes, palettes, paint tubes or solvents. We use only traditional raw materials: natural waxes (beeswax & vegetable waxes), linseed oil and pigments. The result is an oil stick with the soft consistency of a lipstick. Pigment sticks are unique additives, extenders, substitutes and facilitators commonly used in industrial production. The use of these adults can save time and reduce costs, but the quality of the paint will be lower. As a result, our formulas are complex and our manufacturing labor intensive.
