Place the artwork on a flat surface and let it dry for approximately 1-3 days (depending on the thickness of the paint). Recycle excess acrylic paint at a recycling facility to reduce environmental impact. To discard acrylic paint, make sure it is completely dry and discard it in a container. Instead of rinsing down the sink, wipe away paintbrush residue on your reusable rug. Evaporate excess paint water by filling a large container with water outdoors in a well-ventilated area (the mesh will prevent animals from drinking the water)
