"Midnight Sun Fisherman G" is a giclee print of a Finnish painting by Kiyoshi Ishii, produced in June 2021. Traveled to Northern Europe to study for two years in 1964. Graduated from Musashino Art University in 1967. Held a solo exhibition of Nordic pastel paintings at Ginza Akane Gallery in 1970. Held a solo exhibition of Nordic pastel paintings at Odakyu Shinjuku in 1973. Held his first solo exhibition of pastel paintings in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, in 1977. In 1978, he held a solo exhibition of pastel paintings in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. In 1980, he held a solo exhibition of pastel paintings in Malmö, the ancient city of Sweden. Since then, he has held solo exhibitions of pastel paintings of Nordic paintings and giclee prints at famous department stores nationwide, such as Mitsukoshi and Isetan, and at galleries. Formerly worked at TBS and the TV Man Union. Member of the Japan-Finland Society. Currently unaffiliated. Lives in Asao Ward, Kawasaki City.
