The original line of GOLDEN Artist Acrylics is known for its extremely smooth, thick, buttery consistency. It contains the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion vehicle available to professional artists. These colors offer excellent permanence and lightfastness. No fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners or dyes are added. Heavy Body colors vary depending on the nature of the pigments. Colors that can withstand high pigment loads dry to a more opaque, matte finish. Colors that are more reactive and cannot withstand high pigment loads dry to a glossy finish and are more transparent. Heavy Body colors do not contain additives such as matting agents, so the sheen of each color varies.
