Iga ware originated 1,300 years ago, when a kiln was established in Marubashira, Iga City during the Tenpyo era. Nagaten's kiln was built on this site in 1832. Adhering to the philosophy that "the dining table is a place for play," we work hard every day to contribute to Japan's food culture. The interior is coated with radium ore that emits negative ions semi-permanently. It mellows the taste of the water and alcohol you put inside and keeps it delicious.
