These slides feature Vespel material inserts, which are stronger than hardened steel, aluminum, and even titanium, and are made using a compression molding process. Vespel pieces placed at a 45 degree angle to the heavy wear part of the slide, sold in pairs evenly due to constant contact and wear.

In fact, the Rockwell hardness on the 15T scale is about 80 (UHMW - Ultra High Molecular Weight - Slide Runner hardness is about R64, allowing it to withstand extreme friction and thermal environments. Other features: Vespel pieces are Positioned at a 45 degree angle across the heavy wear areas of the slide for constant contact and even wear.Lightweight yet sturdy.Constructed in sections using current UHMW plastic slide runner material.Long Measures 144 inches.
